SkyVac® Filter System

The SkyVac® 27, 30, 78, 150, Sonic Atom, 85, and Interceptor models feature a highly durable wet/dry filter located under the head. These filters are easy to remove with a simple twist of a knob.

The Interceptor, 85, Sonic Atom, and 78 systems all use the same filter. Proper maintenance ensures long-lasting performance. To clean, simply wash them out with a water hose or blow them out with an air hose.

For sensitive internal high-dusting areas, a **HEPA-rated filter** is available. However, it is not recommended for gutter cleaning purposes.

High-efficiency particulate arrestance (HEPA) is a type of air filter that must remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles measuring 0.3 microns in diameter from the air that passes through it. HEPA filters are commonly used in medical facilities, vehicles, and homes to improve air quality.

Filter Maintenance

To maintain optimal performance, we recommend cleaning the filter at the end of each project and replacing it every four months. Inspect your filter regularly for signs of wear and tear, and replace damaged filters immediately.

Filters trap dust and airborne particles, preventing them from entering the motor. Over time, these filters can become clogged, reducing airflow and causing a loss of power. Keep them clean to maintain maximum vacuum performance.

Top Cleaning Tips

• Use a stiff brush to remove dry dirt.
• If very dirty, rinse under a water hose.
• Always start each project with a **CLEAN & DRY filter**.
• Keep a spare filter on hand for continuous operation.
